Al Powered Guest Room Occupancy Detection
Hotel rooms come in all shapes and sizes, making it essential to have a universal occupancy detection solution that can adapt to any guest room. Traditional methods like motion or body heat sensors may not always be reliable due to limitations in placement, leading to inconsistent and inocurrate results.
To address these challenges, the Anacove solution incorporates a variety of sensors within the guest room and utilizes cloud computing systems (Al) to accurately determine the occupancy status. These sensors include a light sensor, thermostat keypresses, pressure sensor, rental status, and gas (TVOC) sensor.
MONITORING GUEST ROOM AIR
By installing a pressure sensor in the guest room, Anacove can detect rapid pressure changes caused by door and window movements. providing valuable insighis to determine room occupancy.
MEASURING TOTAL VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
An important aspect of indoor air quality (IAO) is the presence and concentration of voletite organic compounda (VOCS). Human-emited VOCs. primanity from breath and skin, contribute to this, Anacove utilizes a TVOC sensor in the guest room to monitor VOC levels for both IAQ and occupancy purposes.
DETERMINING OCCUPANCY STATUS
Through the integration of multiple sensors and an Al engine, the aystem accurately determines the current occupancy state of the room. The occupancy status cannot be changed to uncocupied overnight unless instructed by the property management System.
